Highly prized for its incredible natural strength and density, the Jarrah produces resins deep within the tree which serve to enhance its remarkable resistance to extreme weather conditions, fire, rot, termites, marine borers and most acids.
The Western Australian Government controls a large percentage of the Jarrah forest and, supported by an extensive scientific research program, protects the fragile forest ecosystem, promotes the growth of new trees and ensures that the Jarrah forests will always be available for future generations to use and enjoy.
