Pruning trees and shrubs away from electrical wires and connections

If a tree branch is near or touching any electrical wires or connections entering your house, use a dry wooden stick or wooden broom handle to hold the branch off the wires until it is cut away. Do not cut if the wires are touching the branch. Seek the help of a professional.

Note: Ask for professional advice if your tree branches are too big to handle.
