Swimming Pool
- Make sure you've got the right size filter for your pool, and know how long it should operate daily to keep the water clean. Do not operate for longer than necessary.
- Timers on filters should be checked regularly to make sure they are working properly.
- If you heat your pool, consider using solar pool heating. A solar pool heater is simply a large area of black plastic or rubber with tubes through which the pool water circulates and collects heat.
- Heated swimming and spa pools should be kept covered when not in use.
