Frameless glass shower screens have a number of features that highlight their advantages over and above the more traditional framed or semi- frameless shower screens. Made out of 10mm toughened safety glass they are custom designed so they will fit into almost any situation, the double action hinges allows the door to swing both in and out allowing greater entry and exit flexibility, and also allows for any water drips to fall inwards. Glass is Grade A 10mm safety heat strengthened glass and is available in clear, low iron or tint finish. Other options to be considered include sandblasted, acid etched or textured glass.

Wall to Glass

Door is hinged directly off a wall " can be more cost efficient and no glass over panel is required.

Glass to Glass

Door is hinged off a glass panel " this allows easy access to shower and allows the door to swing inwards and outwards without hitting towel rails, taps and other fittings fixed on walls. Requires an overhead panel or other bracing for self support.







Quadrant

Door is hinged at 45 degrees from glass panel " this allows the maximum size shower without compromising space in your bathroom.

Fixed Panel

More common in walk in showers where no door is required - just a fixed glass panel will help contain the water or maintain privacy.

Bath Screen

Door is hinged off a small glass panel - allows easy access to taps when filling bath and deflects the majority of water when showering
