POWERPANEL
Powerpanel is set to change the way many houses in Australia are built.

There is a trend to coated and coloured houses which an appraisal of housing industry awards over the past twelve months strongly supports.

Powerpanel and modern, decorative coatings go hand-in-hand.

These masonry veneer panels, manufactured in Australia, are made from Hebel AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) and reinforced with steel rods within the panels.

Once installed, the Powerpanel system provides an inherently stronger wall and an ideal surface on which to apply renders and textured coatings, as well as features such as quoins and window surrounds to enhance the 'look' of your new home.

What does the Powerpanel System look like inside the wall?

The Powerpanel system consists of five main elements:

  1. External coating - render and/or acrylic texture.

  2. Powerpanel - 75mm thick reinforced Hebel panel.

  3. Zincalume tophat sections - three horizontal bands around the home to which the Powerpanels are fixed.

  4. Steel or timber stud frame.

  5. Batts for extra insulation if desired.

  6. Plasterboard internal lining.

What styles can you have with Powerpanel?
An impressive range of colours and textures are available to give your home life and a stylish "look". Combinations of colour can further enhance the appearance. Textures come in many forms, from subtle to bold, and are used to add depth and dimension to the building. You may even consider some of the interesting mottled and washed looks that are becoming popular.
